Location
The property sits between Bangor and Augusta, along the corridor visitors use for lakes, hiking, and trips toward the midcoast or Acadia.
Great Moose Lake is minutes away for boating, swimming, and fishing. Belfast and the hills around it offer rewarding day hikes; Bigelow Preserve carries some of the state's most dramatic ridgelines. For a longer day, Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor are within reach by car.
Arriving from away
Airports
Commercial service is available at Bangor International (BGR) and Augusta State (AUG). Cape Air connects Boston with both cities; fares are often in the ballpark of around $100 before bags and taxes, depending on dates and demand.
Driving
Plan on roughly four to five hours by car from Boston, Massachusetts, and about three and a half to four and a half hours from Portsmouth, New Hampshire, depending on traffic and stops. Times are estimates; your map app will be most accurate on the day you travel.
Early reservations
Standard rate is $250 per night. Early supporters who reserve ahead can lock in $188 per night (a twenty-five percent discount). Stays of seven nights or more receive an additional ten percent off the nightly rate that applies to your booking.
